1 Thessalonians 4:11-12; Make it your
ambition to lead a quiet life: You should mind your own business and
work with your hands, just as we told you, 12 so that
your daily life may win the respect of outsiders and so that you
will not be dependent on anybody.
I often tell myself that I am not good enough because I am not out changing the world. I'm not helping starving, abused children, I'm not inventing things that make will make a person's life easier. But here Paul says that we should just live a quiet life to the glory of God. God will open the doors for me to do something incredible, but right now is not his timing. And he does have the perfect timing.
